Can we get the PoD option extended to other books? Can we get the PoD option added to other Reward Tiers?

Historically, the "at cost" PoD option (see Reward Descriptions) has been used by Onyx Path as a means of granting a physical book to backers during the (often) lengthy process of printing the deluxe hardcover books. Due to the complex manufacturing requirements, printing and assembling the deluxe editions can take additional time. so Print-On-Demand options have been exercised in the past to mitigate some of the waiting.

Currently, the Reward Tiers receiving the deluxe hardcover version of Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought will receive the "at cost" PoD option as a reward. This Kickstarter campaign is built and driven to publish the deluxe version of this book, and having backers select that reward (the deluxe hardcover) is the main goal of this project.

Many, if not all, of the other books offered as rewards will be available in PDF and PoD form at some point in the future. If your primary consideration is to receive a PoD version of any of these books, it may be in your best interest to wait until those product options are available.

If your goal is to help facilitate the production of the deluxe edition of Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought, backing this project has the additional benefit of building other related supplements and rewards, as well as offering many items combined into a single Reward Tier.

PoD options for one/many/all of these supplemental titles may appear as an Add On reward unlocked by a future Stretch Goal, but these options are not the primary focus of this campaign.

When will we receive our rewards?

The estimated delivery date listed on your Reward Tier indicates expected fulfillment for Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought. For the PDF, it is expected to be delivered to all backers by February 2019. For the deluxe hardcover edition, it is expected to be delivered to all backers who have correctly confirmed their shipping address by December 2019. If the projects are completed before these dates, they will be sent to backers as soon as they are ready.

Additional rewards, particularly those generated as Stretch Goals, will be delivered as they become available. As the Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought book is the main focus of the program, many Stretch Goal rewards may not be developed or worked on until after this book is completed.

Will the Shipping be EU-friendly?

Onyx Path will contract a third-party fulfillment & logistics partner to handle distribution duties of the physical rewards for this Kickstarter campaign. The shipping charges added to your pledge level cover only these shipping and handling costs - any additional fees incurred for delivery (VAT, customs or import taxes) - are the responsibility of the backer.

Our third-party logistics partner may have an agreement with an EU-based partner to minimize some of these extra charges (primarily VAT) for EU-based customers. However, that will be an arrangement made between our logistics partner and another organization, so Onyx Path cannot guarantee the procedure for EU shipping.

In summary, we'll contract a third-party shipper who will certainly attempt to negotiate a method for making the shipping EU-friendly, but at this early stage, no set-up is yet in place to ensure this is the case and we cannot promise that the situation will change.

Will there be an Ultra-Deluxe version of this book?

At this time, the printers that Onyx Path have contacted have been unable to manufacture an ultra-deluxe edition that meets the desired specifications. If an ultra-deluxe edition can't be something special and rare, then Onyx Path would rather not make it than make something below standard.

So, at this point (early in the Kickstarter campaign), there will be no ultra-deluxe edition. That said, Onyx Path continues to explore options and investigate alternative vendors. If something truly ultra-deluxe and special can be coordinated before the end of the campaign, and the support from backers makes it possible, then an ultra-deluxe can be added in later in the campaign.

But, again, that product does not exist at this time, and therefore is not included or mentioned at campaign launch.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

Why can’t I log into my account?

Request a login link to your survey by entering your email here:

BackerKit will send you an automated email with an invite link to whatever email you pledged with.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

Can I upgrade or get multiple copies of my pledge?

This depends on the project creator’s decision. If you are unable to see the ‘Want to switch your pledge level?’ after clicking on your pledge amount under “Pledge Level” in your survey, then the project creator would prefer people not to switch pledge levels.
