Happy New Year, Dragon-Backers,
Now that the backer PDFs have been released, it seems that there are some backers who wished they'd included a different name for their Kickstarter supporter listing or have updated their handle since the campaign ended.
So, I'm firing up my DeLorean and on this last day of 2018, I'm going to quickly (88 MPH) go back in time and try a do-over.

For each of our Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought reward tiers, one of the rewards is having your name listed in the final version of the book under various headings.
As a default, we'll be using your name as it appeared on your Kickstarter profile during the time of this campaign. However, if you wish to have it appear differently, there's a question in the BackerKit survey allowing you to provide us with this information.
(For example, if your Kickstarter handle was "James B." but you would prefer to be listed as "J. Bell," you can provide that information as a response in your BackerKit survey.)

BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first versions of Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought to be released. Note that there is also a second file included in each download - a PDF character sheet. We've sent you these initial Backer PDFs for three reasons:
1) To thank you for your support! You helped keep this game alive and bring this expansion into the world, and you deserve to see it first!
2) So you can start playing a Dragon-Blooded exalt! These are the actual rules - this is the latest expansion for the Exalted 3rd Edition game! It's real, and it's time to defend the Realm!
3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
You can report any such issues on the Onyx Path forums here:
Generally, we try to keep these threads open for the next 2 weeks, although they may be accessible a little longer due to the holiday. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.
We won't be collecting errata from other spots, just those specific threads on the Onyx Path forum. Please note these threads will be for errata only - typos, incorrect math, page elements that overlap incorrectly, etc. It won't be for book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice that you can re-download your file with the latest version. This will happen closer to when the final deluxe hardcover books are getting ready to ship.
You've already made the game a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

They Came From Beneath The Sea! is a new tabletop RPG from Onyx Path, encompassing the wonder, horror, thrills, and hilarity of 1950s science fiction. This game evokes all that is great in the B-movies of decades ago, and provides a dynamic, fun experience at the table.
The players, as humans, live in a world under increasing attack. The attackers? Aliens from beneath the sea, obviously!
Adventures can range from the one-shot defense of small coastal town, to the lengthier liberation of a cruise ship invested with gill-kin, all the way to a campaign in which characters seize an alien submarine and ride it all the way down to the sea bed to take the fight to the invaders.
Put down your malt shakes, turn on the jukebox, and prepare your harpoons! You don’t want to be caught unawares when it’s revealed that They Came From Beneath The Sea!

End of November 2018 Update

Hello Dragon-Backers,
Back on track for the end of the month update - no pumpkin carving this time! Funny enough, today's big task was taking my car in to get the winter tires put on. I remember taking the car in at the start of spring to have the winter tires taken off and trying to explain this Dragon-Blooded kickstarter to the people in the waiting room. Good times!

So, our regular month-end Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought summary. It's a similar refrain - we're getting close to the backer PDF release. Not much to add to that, but progress is being made, sometimes incremental, sometimes in great bounds, and it won't be too much longer.
So, on to the regular monthly updates:
The Onyx Path crew, including Dixie, Rich, Lisa, Matt, Eddy, Danielle, and other Onyx Path writers and developers will be at PAX Unplugged in Philly, November 30th – December 2nd. They're in booth #2133 and will be hanging out, selling books and running a lot of demos and playtests all through the convention.They have two separate tables in the demo area, so there should be lots to sit in on. If you're in the area, come by and say hi!

From the bustling streets of Nexus to the savage western seas, Creation is ripe with threats to mortals and Chosen alike. Crooked traders, vile occultists, and even zealous protectors of the Realm can be found in every city, satrapy, and region waiting for unsuspecting targets or standing their ground as they prepare for the inevitable.
In this collection you will meet new foes, encounter old enemies, and learn the inner workings of several different factions and societies dedicated to criminal activity, nefarious plotting, and more.
Quick-witted and clever, with a sharp tongue, Peremuz served his creator for several years as a laboratory assistant, conversationalist, messenger, and spy. But when Lofty Raiton died, her progeny bickered over ownership of Peremuz as though he were a pet or a tool rather than a person. Hello Dragon-Backers!
Why is James dressed as a vampire? Is he a Lunar Exalt with a Bat as his totem? Read on to find out...
Technically, this update should have gone out yesterday, to make it the End of October 2018 update. But I was busy scooping the guts out of a pumpkin (last minute, I know!) for Halloween, so instead I wanted to welcome all Dragon-Blooded to November with a quick update.
The short version: Gettin' closer! The Dragon-Blooded: What Fire Has Wrought layout is currently in proofing, which means it's being reviewed by the creative team, editors, art director, and, of course, the license-holders to make sure everything's where it's supposed to be. This is still an involved process, and there may be pockets of things that still need to be done (ie, placeholder spots instead of finished art), but it's an important step that gets us ever closer to having the book on our screen!
From the frozen North to the burning South, and all directions in between, there are creatures that stalk Creation. Demons, spirits, monsters and even creatures who live alongside mankind are in every region.
In this collection you will find new foes, encounter old enemies, and learn the secrets of these denizens of Exalted 3rd Edition’s wondrous world.
Remember during the campaign, when we talked about the map of Creation, and how you could add a cloth version on to your rewards (and still can - check your BackerKit!)? We also dreamed about the map being available in other formats... AND NOW IT IS!

Hello Dragon-Backers,
We are still in the long "In Process" part of building the book. I know the team is working hard to make it gorgeous - and we added more awesome art during the campaign - so now it's a matter of working through the layout, approving art as it comes in, sending it all to be reviewed and approved by the license holder, and then hammering it all together.
So, another update where I tell you progress is being made and the book is moving forward but we'll stay patient for a while more as we get closer to delivery.
So, like last month, I'll take an opportunity to update on all Exalted-related projects. These updates come from the Onyx Path Monday Meeting Notes (linked HERE), in case you want to see the many projects Onyx Path has going on.

The grim Gravehound and the bejeweled Tiger’s Eye are fantastic additions to your Exalted game.

COLLECTING THE MONTHLY RELEASES
A few weeks back, Rich had reached out to the community to discuss preferences on collecting these monthly releases - larger volumes released over a longer period of time, or more-frequent smaller volumes. After receiving and reviewing the responses, Rich says:
"Thank you everyone who wrote in to let us know how you'd be interested in having compiled book versions of our monthly releases. We have heard you folks, and since the overwhelming majority of you would prefer a single volume of each, rather than multiple quicker and smaller ones, we will wait a year-ish and compile both Hundred Devils Night Parade and Adversaries of the Righteous into single volumes."
